Advanced Open Water Certification

Take Your Diving to the Next Level

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to build your skills, confidence, and experience underwater. You’ll complete five Adventure Dives, including Underwater Navigation and Deep Diving, plus three additional dives based on your interests.

The course is typically completed over 2 or 3 days, depending on your schedule, dive conditions, and the Adventure Dives selected.

WHY GET YOUR ADVANCED CERTIFICATION?

Advanced Open Water certification builds your confidence and expands the types of diving you can experience. It can also open the door to deeper and more challenging dive sites, and some dive operators, resorts, and liveaboards may require or recommend Advanced certification for certain dives.

Nitrox certification is highly recommended (not required). Add it with our Advanced + Nitrox course for $200 more, for longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals.

Course Requirements

1. Minimum age: 12 years old (parental consent required for participants under 18).
2. Must hold an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.

3. Complete the required medical questionnaire before your session. Physician approval may be required for certain medical conditions.
