The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it's like a specialty sampler platter).
The course can be done over 2 or 3 days, with up to 3 dives being completed in one day. Usually this will consist of 2 dives during the day and a night dive if you choose the night dive as one of your options.
Of the five training dives you must complete, the Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Dive are both mandatory.

Are you craving deeper more adventurous scuba diving? The Advanced Open Water Diver class is a fantastic way to further your scuba diving skills and learn new ones! The class consists of five scuba dives in total. We aim to build on the knowledge and scuba skills that you already have while learning new ones on fun and exciting scuba dives.
YOU CHOOSE THE SCUBA DIVES
What’s really awesome about the Advanced course is that you can choose the dives you want to do! A Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive are required. After that, you have the option to choose Fish ID, Drift Dive, Underwater Photography, Dive Propulsion Vehicle, Wreck Dive, and more! We have lots of amazing dive sites of different types locally.
This class takes place over two or three days, depending on your schedule and conditions. Along with the dives you will complete a knowledge review for every dive that we do.
WHY GET YOUR ADVANCED CERTIFICATION?
The Advanced scuba course is one of the most fun and exciting scuba classes for any diver. Not only that, the Advanced scuba certification will allow you to dive in more challenging and remote locations across the world. Many resorts and liveaboards prefer or require divers to have at least an Advanced scuba certification, as it implies a certain level of skill and knowledge. We want to help you get there!
Must have Open Water Diver certification or equivalent. Ages 12+.
